MBSIA is attempting to create more networking and learning opportunities for members and affiliates. As part of this initiative, ‘issues and information sessions’ on top-of-mind trends and topics are held monthly by teleconference. MBSIA also hosts topical conferences, workshops and seminars on occasion.

Our annual golf day is our major social gathering. This event is a great way to reconnect with former colleagues and meet current MBSIA representatives from both member and affiliate organizations.

    The MBSIA will be hosting members from the Bank of Canada’s Collateral Infrastructure and Market Practices Advisory Group (CIMPA) for an information session on the Canadian repo market and the potential use of NHA MBS securities in the new tri-party Canadian Collateral Management System.   The session will be held on January 19, 2026, from 1pm ET to 2pm ET.

    The session is open to members in good standing.
